　　元器件交易網訊 6月24日消息，據外媒報道，微軟Surface Pro 3已被知名拆解網站iFixit拆解完畢。結果顯示Surface Pro 3較前輩玻璃更薄，同時也更難修理。

　　在iFixit拆解過程中，移除Surface Pro 3屏幕時再也無法保證不碎裂。Surface Pro 3較以往型號玻璃更薄，當iFixit加熱粘合劑以移除屏幕時，冷卻過程就弄碎了玻璃。

　　“微軟費了九牛二虎智力讓Surface Pro 3更便攜，將其從Surface Pro 2的0.53英寸減少到0.36英寸——但更薄的玻璃對于日常使用的堅固性和維修都不是什么好事，”iFixit在網站上寫道。

　　Microsoft’s Surface Pro 3 is thinner andlighter than its predecessors, but it’s also harder than ever to repair.

　　While performing a teardown of the newWindows tablet , iFixit was unable to remove the screen without cracking it.The Surface Pro 3 has thinner glass than previous models, and as iFixit triedto remove the screen by heating the adhesive underneath, the resultant coolingprocess was enough to crack the display.

　　“Microsoft went to great lengths to make the Surface Pro 3 superportable, thinning it down from the Pro 2’s 0.53” to a mere 0.36” thick—but itseems the thinner glass does not bode well for ruggedness, or repair,” iFixitwrote.

　　The Surface Pro 3 also uses much moreadhesive inside compared to the Surface Pro 2, which instead used over 90 Torxscrews to hold the innards in place. Even if you can pry the display open, theuse of more adhesive makes the components even harder to swap out. According toiFixit, it’s nearly impossible to remove the Surface Pro 3’s battery withoutseverely warping it.

　　Microsoft tried to address concerns aboutthe Surface Pro 3’s non-removable battery in a question-and-answer session onReddit last month. The battery can be charged five days per week for more than4.5 years and still maintain more than 80 percent of its capacity, Microsoftsaid, and can be replaced for free if it fails during the warranty period.Outside the warranty period, Microsoft said it will replace a failed batteryfor $200.

　　In other words, don’t bother trying toreplace the battery—or any other components—on your own, and don’tunderestimate how much storage you’ll need in hopes of upgrading later. Like somany other devices with ultra-thin designs, the Surface Pro 3’s sleekness comesat a cost.
